To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour”William Blake
Some have called it the “Japanese BMW.” It has a chassis, auto body, and wheels, just like other cars. Sure, it may be “just” a car. Still, there is something almost mystical and appealingly Zen-like about the Infiniti. The central angled lines of the familiar corporate badge on the front grille of every Infiniti automobile are said to form a highly stylized representation of Mount Fuji (reflecting the Japanese origins of the car maker). Simultaneously, that logo depicts a perspective point extending into a distant, unreachable horizon, suggesting at once both irresistible motion toward infinity and a timeless quality of stillness. Even the brand name—with the letter ‘y’ replaced by an ‘i’—is succinct and streamlined and well-proportioned, just like a Japanese haiku poem: indelibly memorable, and with no part of it wasted or out of place.
This same collision of concepts is embodied in the design, construction, and engineering of the Infiniti automobile itself. Founded in 1985 as the premium vehicle division of Nissan Motor Co., Infiniti rolled out their first lineup of sporty, powerful, high-performance luxury cars in the United States in 1989. And from the beginning, the company strove to differentiate itself from other similarly priced and market-positioned luxury brands, such as Toyota’s Lexus and Honda’s Acura. Inside and out, the cars that Infiniti manufactures are human-centric in design, with a pronounced focus on rounded, organic surfaces, soft materials, and natural curves. They are powerful yet elegant, nuanced yet bold, artisanal yet technically advanced.
By pulling together all these seemingly contrasting elements into a harmonious whole, they have succeeded in creating cars whose inspiration may come from art and poetry, but whose execution has a machine-like power and purpose. Every aspect of Infiniti vehicle design is exceptional. From the elevated front fender, to focused human eye headlights, to the double-wave hood, to the crescent-cut pillar and the silhouette, all the sculpted contours of their vehicles flow effortlessly as water.
Flowing too into an integrated oneness are their pioneering innovations in driver and passenger safety technologies, including:
- Intelligent Cruise Control
- Direct Adaptive Steering
- Lane Departure Prevention System
- Intelligent Park Assist
- Backup and Blind Spot Collision Intervention
Such “powerful elegance,” of course, has one small downside. Even with all these predictive safety technologies interwoven into the overall design and engineering of Infiniti automobiles, there is no defeating Fate. Accidents will happen—sometime, to someone, somewhere.
And in the unfortunate event of collision damage occurring to your Infiniti automobile, who will you choose to repair it? Given the exquisite artistry and advanced technical expertise that goes into the manufacture of every Infiniti automobile, it should be obvious that your average general mechanic, no matter how skilled, will be way out of his depth in this arena.
Soon after the debut of the first Infiniti models, the company quickly gained recognition as leaders in customer satisfaction through their Total Ownership Experience program. Part of that program includes providing their customers with access to the Infiniti Certified Collision Repair Network. And Keri Coach Works is a proud member in good standing of that exclusive network.
As Infiniti cars continue to evolve and incorporate more and more new materials and technologies into their design, current training has become increasingly important for proper repairs. Our technicians’ expertise in repairing Infiniti automobiles starts with training by I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair). The purpose of the I-CAR certification program is to provide the resources to help ensure consistency of the repair of Infiniti vehicles on a national basis. It is designed to recognize body shops—like Keri Coach Works—that meet or exceed the company’s standards for repair work, training, equipment, and the delivery of Infiniti-level customer care.
We have the ultimate combination of highly trained artisans, advanced tools, and technical know-how to meet Infiniti’s high expectations for its certified auto collision repair shops. This means:
- Adherence to Infiniti’s strict repair standards, using dedicated and Infiniti-approved equipment and materials to ensure all damage is properly repaired, and quality control standards are strictly followed
- Prioritized use of genuine Infiniti replacement parts, ensuring a precise fit to your vehicle and maintaining the vehicle’s system integrity
- Continuing education so that our technicians consistently keep up to date on the latest technologies and standards
- Maintaining the crash-worthiness and resale value of the vehicle
- Training to find hidden damage that others may not see
- Compliance with all vehicle warranties
The result is our customers’ peace of mind in knowing that their damaged vehicle is in professional hands.
The Infiniti automobile is inspired by two age-old Japanese traditions: shokunin (pride of craftsmanship) and omotenashi (hospitality). At Keri Coach Works, that is what inspires us as well. For it takes truly inspired craftsmanship and exquisite care to create a positive service experience when it comes to repairing collision damage to your Infiniti vehicle. We take pride in making the repair process as stress-free as possible for our customers.
